All About Limerick...
Yesterday, the Limerick Marketing Board released its official viideo promoting 'Limerick in 48 Hours' a view of the city, and county - through the eyes of a couple visiting for the weekend. Through Ballyhoura, where the Kardashians, randomly enough, spent their honeymoon and Lough Gur, kayakking on the Shannon, and then wandering through the Milk Market, Staying at No1 Pery square, shopping at White Dove Nurseries, Lucky Lane... what a great place Limerick is. I might have grown up the UK, but my roots are firmly in Limerick. 99% of the family I still communicate with are from here. I believe my genetic problems with impuse control originated here, in the Limerick bloodline. Its a quality that makes Limerick people stand out in Ireland. Never too shy to have the craic. Always a witty one line comeback to serve. A willingness to try out new things. Impulsive, with a seam of crazy but totally warmhearted, that's what Limerick folk are.
