The Hope Arch
Project for the Darkness Into Light Walk for Pieta House, The Boardwalk, Limerick City.
At about 11pm. two lone figures with crates full of plants and an arch arrived on the boardwalk in Clancy Strand, and began to build an installation called The Hope Arch. We offered our arch so that participants in the walk could stop for a moment and ponder on their reasons for rising at 3am in the morning for a 5km walk around the city and over both it's bridges.
An emotional night, we also donated a triple stem birch tree to the organisers to plant, and at Thomond Park Stadium, the thousands of walkers covered it with small tags of memory.
One Pery Square
At the heart of georgian Limerick, overlooking The People's Park is an oasis of calm and style. One Pery Square is a five star Hotel and Spa offering a unique experience, with fine dining and indulgent spa treatments.
During 2015, we created an outdoor planting scheme to tie in with the relaunch of the restaurant. Sash now offers local authentic cuisine, using locally sourced produce.
It's plants are also locally sourced too, and we always enjoy maintaining these boxes, as the coffee is great and so is the chat!
